Our Story
Our mission, since our establishment in 2022, has been to share the authentic flavors and ambiance of Mexico with Palos Heights.
Join us this weekend from Saturday, September 14, to Monday, September 16, as we celebrate Mexican Independence Day!
This fiesta-friendly holiday celebrates Mexico’s declaration of independence from Spain in 1810, filled with national pride, vibrant parades, mariachi music, and authentic food. Flags, flowers and decorations in the colors of the Mexican flag – red, white and green – are seen all throughout Mexico. Whistles and horns are blown and confetti is thrown to celebrate this festive occasion. “Viva Mexico” or “Viva la independencia” which translates to “long live Mexico” and “ long live Independence”, are shouted amidst the crowds on this day.

~ Our house-made Tamales are back to celebrate Mexican culture!
~ To keep the vibrant colors present, we are offering our delicious Pozole Verde; flavorful Mexican stew with shredded chicken and hominy in green chile broth!

"I have traveled all over this country. With 0ver 68 million views from my Google contribution account. I grew up in California, & have had Mexican food from all this country. This little Mexican restaurant is one of my all time favorites. The quality of the meat, vegetables, & sauces are absolutely in a league of its own. From this chihuahua cheese chimichanga to the freshest looking taco salads with beautiful avocado slices is a true art form. I 100% recommend Meshico's you will not be disappointed."
